Hi Mary,
We are moving to the Bethany Beach area. I cannot express how excited we are! We are moving May 31-June 1st. It feels like such a heavy weight has been lifted off my shoulders. The onlly thing I am not looking orward to is the move itself!
My husband is already looking at water toys!!!MEN!!!!lol.

Hooray! So good to hear this is all working out... and of course, who can live so close to the water without those water toys! Tell the truth, you will enjoy them a bit too!

Default Milford is a promising little town...

Hi Beachanyone,
I have decided to re-locate to Milford in about a month. It has a lot of charm and 'small town' america characteristics, with a great plan for their future. They just put in 'riverwalk' through the town, and it has an historic district, with about a 10 min. drive to a beach, without all that summer tourism thats a few miles down the road. Good Luck!!! It is exciting, and I wish you the best. kate

Kate,
Good luck with the move!! We are relocating in just under a month and are so excited we can hardly stand it. The only thing I am not looking forward to is the actual MOVE! lol.

I picked up our mail and inside the mailbox was my very first issue of DELAWARE BEACH LIFE magazine. Another sign maybe?

Hi beachanyone,

Are you counting down the days yet? Beware of traffic in or around Dover area that weekend, and hopefully you can bypass the traffic altogether on your way to your new home. Traffic reason??? NASCAR at Dover Downs that weekend! Should be a huge crowd... so be forewarned!

Travel safe... and post when you can. Look forward to meeting you when you get settled in!

Mary, Thanks for the headsup regarding traffic during the weekend of our move. From our last few trips to our new home we do not travel thru Dover so hopefully we will miss the traffic!
I am counting down the days. I just wish I could close my eyes and be "moved". I am not looking forward to the actual move. However, I will be so happy once it is over and done with.
Thank You for your support and great advice.
Tabitha

Default Good luck

Hi Tabitha, I've been reading all the posts as my hubby and I are where you were a year ago. We will be visiting Rehoboth/Lewes area next week to start our research. I have so many communties I want to see in only 2 days. Don't know where to start. What community did you choose or did you buy outside a community?

It really depends on the price you are looking for. Check out this one Oakwood Village at Lewes - Welcome Its a beautiful custom home community! Close to the beaches but not too close to traffic. And its not out in an old open farm field either. There are trees and ponds and sidewalks and its beautiful.
Good luck in your search! (This is the fun part!)
