Jim N Nicks because I am a sucker for BBQ since moving here from NYC and am still kicking myself for not stopping by KS for BBQ on the way And their brisket is so incredibly tender.

Any other recommendations for BBQ places will be much appreciated!

Yura's Modern Asian Bistro - Lincoln and 9th. So far, we've tried their pho, spring rolls, fried rice, wonton soup, and something else I'm forgetting. Not your usual Asian fare. Fried rice is some of the best I've had. Wonton soup was very hearty with a lot of different veggies in it. Good place. Like it better than some of the other dime a dozen Asian food delivery places. Good flavors

Thanks to CO_guy_94, I hit up Old Fashioned Italian Deli yesterday. called ahead and drove down to pick it up. Cool little place. store hours are hand painted on the door, so you get that true mom and pop feel before you're even inside LOL. lots of Marilyn Monroe stuff, which is fine with me. she's nice to look at LOL. Guys in there were very cool. He had an Air Force pin on his hat (I'm an air force veteran) so we talked some military while he rang me up.

Anyway, onto the important stuff. The eats. I got the "Enforcer," which was basically an Italian on steroids. DAMN that thing was good! I told my wife we have to go there this weekend so she can try it lol. I also want to try their pizza.

CO_Guy, thanks for the recommendation! Old Fashioned Italian Deli is legit!

Not that I'm too cute for Jersey Mikes or Quiznos...their Italians are fine. But I want something special today LOL
Even though I am a few days late, I have to chime in. Depending where in downtown you are, I would hit up subculture - Sub Culture -

I have no idea how it compares to the Old Fashioned Italian Deli, but it's good enough for me!
