Frightening thing was in 2008 I had a problem with my computer at work. My company's tech computer help center was in INDIA. They controlled my computer at my CUBICLE from INDIA.
Since then People have been losing jobs at an ACCELERATED rate, it's been picking up steam, with no sign of said lost jobs returning in near future. All those with jobs see nothing wrong.
Why are we losing jobs to foreign countries? Who is to blame? I really am concerned.

bring our soldiers home, and station them on OUR borders. They are going to need to be paid anyway, so the smart thing is to keep that tax money in OUR OWN COUNTRY, supporting our own businesses. They would buy their food here, their clothes here, housing here, etc---- with a positive ripple effect on OUR economy.
and tell me how you keep a country safer than by guarding your own borders?
second, stop obamacare and the destruction of full time work in this country-we just can't have people making lower wages ( due to excessive immigration policies) and then having to accept reduced hours. HOW INSANE IS THAT???. People can't afford to work part time, pay for their health care (what about those deductibles???), pay for their fuel to get to those part time jobs, and then expect to be able to provide a decent lifestyle for their families.
IT IS INSANE AND EVERYBODY KNOWS IT.
why would any american company need to outsource their customer service to another country? we have plenty of workers here and there should be a huge tax on their products if they outsource their labor-carrot for good behavior, and stick for bad behavior!

Exactly what is their share. If someone makes 10 times what I make, how many more times in taxes should they pay and why? Our current system penalizes the rich by making them pay a higher percentage so they pay more because the make more and the pay even more because they pay a higher percentage. Do you consider this fair?

Our current system penalizes the rich by making them pay a higher percentage so they pay more because the make more and the pay even more because they pay a higher percentage. Do you consider this fair?

We can't lessen our growing income gap by taxing rich people more. We have to realize that our economic policies as well as our increasingly lax social attitudes have contributed to the growing gap between rich and poor.
We have a highly inflationary economic policy that seeks to frontload pleasure and push pain to the future through continuous artificial expansion of the money supply, either through QE Fed policies or massive deficit spending, or both. The only reason we don't have massive inflation with these policies is that we export it through our huge trade deficit, along with a massive number of jobs.
Sometimes, people oversimplify complicated matters, and sometimes we overcomplicate simple matters. Our economic policies are a case of the latter.
If you continuously consume more than you produce, it has to come from somewhere. The policies we have engineered to allow this to continue have hurt the lower end of the economic scale much more than the upper end.
The commodities that we can't import or outsource -- housing, health care and higher education -- have soared in price at multiples of the inflation rate. The rich has been protected by the accompanying soaring asset values that go along with this (along with increasing incomes due to unrelated trends), but those less well off and lack assets are left with higher rents, more money going to health care, and a struggle to send their kids to college. Simultaneously, technology is producing a situation in which those with higher level skills can become hyper-productive and greatly increase their income, while those without those higher level skills are pushed out of the labor market or pushed into lower level jobs where their income stagnates, at best.
Family breakdown has exacerbated this situation and been both the cause and result of these negative employment trends. And of course, families headed by a single parents rather than two parents is exponentially more vulnerable economically and disadvantaged. Yet we continue to deny this reality in our social policies.
None of this can be solved by taxing high income people more. The policies that have led us to where we are have had bipartisan support, because like drug use, they feel good at the beginning. The pain comes later. If we really want to fix these problems, focusing anger on richer people can only be a diversion and will never really help.

I believe you have misconstrued a few major points here. Firstly, Alvin Lee and Ten Years After, being a 60's hippie band, mean that literally. Secondly, one does not have to believe in taxing the very wealth out of existence to support a sustainable tax policy that prevents a too narrowly focused concentration of wealth. Thirdly, when taking into consideration total tax, and not just federal tax rates on earned income, the very wealthy may not being paying more at all. Possibly even less.

OK I know that's a lie, but give credit where credit is due, they worked hard for it. My only problem is how they systematically keep middle class and poor stagnant:
My old timers said they remembered a time where you could uh you know enjoy life. Nowadays it is work work work for somebody else to get rich or make millions. Meanwhile you, the workhorse who contributed your life towards his or her goal ultimately ends up with nothing to show for it except maybe a plaque with your name on it saying "for 25 years of exceptional service" and a job. Well having a job better than no job and think we can all agree exploitation is popular these days
Anyway, the problem is opportunity. Their isn't much of it around these days.

As for the fall of the middle class, its 1000% their own fault. They bet big and lost big. What is causing a lot of grief is that wealthy people created this mess and are being bailed out/ still financially stable while middle class are losing everything savings -livelihood -JOBS. Hypocrisy absolutely, but blame the government and themselves. Simply put, the middle class slept with the wrong devil and didn't have a plan b for when things go bad. Rich people take better care of their money and have more of it. In 2006 nobody was saving, but we were sure as hell spending hence our huge debt (credit, house). Regardless of your own financial knowledge, even a 5 year old kid knows you cant buy what you don't have. If you are making $50K a year, why are you purchasing a $600K house? The name of the game back then was flipping houses and they lucked out. Everyone knows a house is an investment first before a home.

The 1% benefited from the recession overall. They are the ones that bought those cheap foreclosures/REOs cash. They are the ones that bought huge amount of cheap stock when they were dirt cheap.
It's not uncommon to see stocks that were 10x cheaper in 2009 than they are now.
People living paycheck to paycheck (most Americans)..didn't have the money to buy these things.
You can't really blame the rich for taking legal advantage of opportunity.
It's just that the system is setup for them. Tax breaks, 1031 exchanges, low taxes on stocks held for a year . etc etc.
Of course the laws weren't thought up by the 99%...they would thought up by the 1%.
It's funny how it took until 2009/2008 for people to actually realize this.
10 Ways to force the stinking poor to get into the prosperity mindset. Some suggestions:
1. Don't have kids when you're a teen.
2. Don't have kids out of wedlock.
3. Don't have kids if you can't afford them.
4. Use birth control. Every time.
5. Spend time in school and actually take the time to study and learn stuff that's useful to the work world.
6. Save a portion of everything you earn from your very first paycheck.
7. Invest a portion of every paycheck in a mutual fund. Don't know what a mutual fund is? Look it up. That's why there's Google.
8. Don't blow money on any of the following: cigarettes, alcohol, drugs, tattoos.
9. Learn to cook cheap meals for yourself that are made from REAL ingredients: beans, lentils, whole wheat pasta, brown rice, couscous, vegetables, fruits. Cooking real food doesn't have to be expensive. Keep meat consumption to a minimum.
10. Graduate from high school. Get decent paying employment. Then marry (if you so choose). Then have kids (if you so choose). In that order. Avoid divorce like the plague, especially if kids are involved.

There is only one way to end the growing trend of wealth disparity, and that is to return to a true free market economy.
Our current economic system is one in which big business uses government to suppress the competition posed by small business and by individuals.
The current scheme of taxes, regulations, and laws makes it financially unfeasible for small business and individuals to compete with big business despite the obvious efficiency problems associated with big business.
Socialism benefits the wealthy at the expense of the people.
