Law enforcement are too busy being shot at down there to investigate.

Now this bombshell!
Quote:
An El Paso man killed by Mexican soldiers in a shootout on Monday was the mastermind behind the massacre of 16 people at a birthday party over the weekend in Juárez, federal officials said Tuesday night.
Adrian Ramirez, alias "Ramon, El 12 or El Rama," allegedly led a hit team for the Juárez drug cartel also known as La Linea, authorities said in statement that included artist renderings of other suspects in the slayings.

Mexican officials said Ramirez, who is also suspected in the killing of four people at the Bandoleros nightclub on Monday, was shot and killed about 3 p.m. Monday after a chase that ended in a shootout with soldiers.

Pretty obvious the drug cartel has plenty of it's members living over here now, I think it's just a matter of time before something related to all this stuff in Juarez happens over here. What happens when someone doesn't pay the extortionist or pays the wrong cartel's extortionist and thinks that just by reopening his place over here that all will be fine? Do they really believe their enemies can't figure out where they've gone?

Yes...everytime you read about a new restaurant opening in El Paso, there is some back story about how it was a popular restaurant in Juarez before the violence started. There at least three on the westside reviewed by the EP Times that fit that description.

Is it true that people have been kidnapped and held for ransom in El Paso? OMG does it ever end there? I really hate hearinf these stories. I was interested in moving there but just seems like there is too much going on.
