Common sense is a very valuable attribute to help with coping with every day life. However anyone that believes that common sense without intellectual curiosity, a solid well-rounded education with knowledge of geopolitics, history, economics etc is sufficient to be a competent and effective president shows tremendous naivete. A person that cannot even finish serving one full term as governor of a state with a population smaller than metro Omaha, NE shows she is thin-skinned. You need structure and commitment and forebearance to be president- a Quitter doesn't make it. Nor does a woman who backed a man in her home state that could not even prevail over a write-in candidate.
Obungle is so pathetic that anybody could beat him in 2012.....Donald Duck, Bozo the Clown, Jerry Springer, the teller at your local bank, any McDonalds worker, etc. You name it. Obungle won't be hard to beat.
As opposed to your very erudite 'looney lefties' comment?
NeoConfused hypocrisy at its finest
Yep, I also don't see him saying anything about people in this thread using 'Obungle, Obobo' etc. in this thread...I guess it's okay to use schoolyard name calling as long as the recipient is on the 'enemies' side....
The RNC won't let her get within 1,000 miles of the presidential nomination and if she runs as a Tea Partier she'll split the Republican vote. Run, Sarah, Run!!!!
Plus we'll get to see her do some real interviews.
I agree. I would love for her to run. Run, Sarah, run.
Actually McCain actually had a shot and things where looking good immediately after he picked Palin. Palin's interviews with the media basically made people question McCain's judgment in picking a woman of questionable intellect to say the least. His behavior in the economic crises and the Congressional actions he took prior to the passage of TARP sealed his fate. If McCain has chosen more seasoned and confidence inspiring running mate it would have given him a much better chance at winning in 2008.
He had a shot until she opened her mouth then all was lost.
Sarah Palin says she could beat President Obama in 2012
Memo to Sarah: No you could not. For a lot of reasons, one of which is that even center right guys like me would rather take the Hope and Change clown than the likes of you.
If the 2008 election showed us that Americans would vote for a president without discrimination on the basis of race, perhaps a Palin presidency would show that Americans would vote for someone without discrimination on the basis of intelligence and class either.
