You are talking about the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. Which did nothing to boost the economy. It was aimed at payroll taxes and withholding, rebating $13 dollars for individuals and around $70 for families, for 2 years. Large corps were able to transition, while placing an extra burden on small businesses to institute the change. It did zip to help the economy.

The money put into this is staggering! The Solyndra scandal is only the tip of the iceberg of this Administration’s green radicalism.
Implementing “responsible climate change policy” will come at a tremendous cost to the energy consumer and benefit those involved in producing and installing these devices as well as those involved in the carbon emissions permit exchange market.
I for one am VERY against this for HEALTH reasons if nothing else. Few people realize that this technology might be great for the utility companies control over us (if they are into being controlled and into being a slave), but do they REALIZE that additional electromagnetic fields will be created that could make us physically ill ? What a GREAT idea. This is NO EXAGGERATION! Lets all pay MORE money to the utilities so they can control us and make us sick. Actually, if it makes enough of us sick enough to kill us, there will be fewer and fewer of us left to pay the bills which isn't very smart thinking on their part.

We know that's the right-wing's talking point. It's just a false narrative.
Anyone that thinks the auto bailouts were a failure is hopelessly partisan. Those bailouts (initially instituted by Bush) saved the U.S. auto industry, millions of jobs and lots of government unemployment benefits.
Why does anyone get to choose who does or doesn't fail using the peoples money? Why do other businesses have to raise or fall on their merits? They fail and don't get bailed out. The free market doesn't pick and choose who to bail out with the peoples money.

My mistake your candidate probably agreed with Ron Paul but didn't say or vote that way because Ron Paul spoke and voted for him, right?
Bailouts/recovery package work? Home from Afghanistan come true? No one else has been dead on about the state of our economy and our foreign policy as Ron Paul has. You're grasping at straws.

The only candidate who saw the housing bubble that destroyed our economy from day one and told us the reasons why was Ron Paul. The only candidate who voted to not go into Iraq and gave us the reasons why. He also told us to expect an attack before it happened based on our foreign policy. Those very same reasons were cited by the head of the CIAs Osama Bin Laden unit Michael Scheuer.
So where does that leave the one you supported?

You are being paranoid, smart electric meters communicate for a few minutes a day at a lower energy level than a baby monitor. You might as well throw away your laptop, wireless router, cordless phone, and garage door remote if you are that concerned about RF.
Rush just said that he doesn't think Ron Paul could beat Obama, but most any other candidate could. How irresponsible of Rush, to say such a thing.
