Yes Ann, and those women who don't have a choice are just as thrilled as you are. Living on a shoe string, hoping that they cover the rent, can put food on the table, pay the bills, clothe their children. I'm sure you know how life isn't easy when it comes to that kind of situation.

Yes Ann, those are all the things that women who don't have a choice do while holding down a job. I'm sure you know what it's like to scrape the bottom of your handbag looking for change, have a zero balance in your checkbook or maxed our your credit card because you had to put food on the table or the kids needed shoes. I'm sure your had sleepness nights wondering if you were going to get through the next month to keep the roof over your familly's head. They may have some help at home - a husband who is unemployed and struggling to look for a job. Would that be her domestic help?

Yes Ann, you aren't any different from those single parent women. One can only imagine the struggles you have gone through, especially having domestic help, and will continue to go through.
Excellent points. Hey, I am sure she loves her husband and is genuine in that respect. I know she has some health issues and thank God she had HEALTH INSURANCE to get the care she needed at the time. But when she starts talking about women and how she knows how they feel. Really Anne? I sincerely doubt very much you know what a single mom goes through every day because you have done a load of laundry maybe once in your entire life as an example is just ridiculous! Smart women will see right through this BS. Anne is the typical rich wife who is just as out of touch as her wooden husband Mitt. Sure, it was a crafted speech for the base and not for the Independent voters out there who are the fence. Anne always comes across condescending and although it was more subtle last night in her speech, she doesn't hide it well. The Republicans should just need to accept the fact they lost the women voters in this election and just move on.

Absurdity?

A prepared speech, at a political convention, isn't an expressly political act to serve a specific political objective?

And I'm being absurd???

Mrs. Romney is a phony Stepford wife. Mrs. Kerry was not anyone's "shadow." For that matter, the Kennedy's were wealthy, but were very popular.

Romney's wife's speech probably did more harm than good, unless you were in a very specific female market niche to cheer on as in "Oh, good for you." I'm sure many American women were not at all endeared to her.

And that comment about "Mitt Romney, you really ought to get to know him." Oh brother. Two things: (a) it's almost September, and (b) how can we, with the secretive goings-on of the Mormon church?

How does Michelle Obama know what it's like to be a single Mom? She's not one, and she came from an intact family? She grew up in gifted and talented programs, magnet schools, went to Princeton and vacationed in Michigan. What makes her any more credible? Is is really an expectation that anyone in politics understands the struggle of each of 340 million people and is that necessary to make good decisions that bring jobs and improve the economy?

Jealousy and anger makes people easy to manipulate, worse these people do not know they are being manipulated.

They would rather vote for Obama the failure because they can associate with him. Obama does not understand economy, all he knows is hatred and attacking, manipulating, bringing others down and jealousy. Like minded hang together that is for sure.

Misery loves company and the jealous, envious, angry people feel more at home associating personally with someone just like them, Obama, the FAILURE!

And she and Mitt made their money? LOL. Most people who are rich today are rich because their families were rich. When you start off on third base, it's not that difficult to hit a home run.

It's very easy to spend someone else's money. After all the hard work she and Obama have been doing for the taxpayers I guess they do feel entitled to take 16 vacations, and Obama has played golf 90 times and he has attended 100 fundraisers. Lord knows Michelle needs her breaks.
