Smoke and mirrors from the master once again.

Yes, and he'll probably file a 1040X to amend the return to take all of his deductions come Nov 7, after he figures out that he will NEVER win the presidency of the United States. It's too important of a job to give to a tax dodging religious nutjob like him.

You outdo yourself with each passing day. Where do you get your info? I don't think anyone on C-D is wrong about the facts more than you are. Under Romney's tax plan he would pay less that 1% because he proposes to do away with capital gains taxes that fall mostly on wealthy people like himself and Ryan. He had a liability this year of 9%, though he chose to deceive the voters by not claiming all of his deductions to make it appear like he actually owed more. 1% is much less than 9%.

Ain't that the truth. What a dishonest piece of dirt this Romney is.

You have to be a minority preferably gay or a straight scoundrel with babies fathered all over the place all preaching how you're the man of the people. Meanwhile in reality you went to the best schools and when given a choices chose to live far away from the poor. Your wife wears the latest fashions and your kids go to the best schools all while giving less than 1% to charity but hey you can say you're a real man of the people and the lemmings eat it up because you have a nice smile and your media buddies just love you.

I hope Mitt can pull it off but maybe this country doesn't deserve him and deserves its fate under Obama.
America deserves it, if for no other reason than its arrogance.

I don't have kids to leave America's mess to, so quite honestly, I couldn't care less what happens. There was a time I was as patriotic as an American could be. In view of how incredibly stupid America has become, it will fail. Sad, but true. The greatest country ever and it couldn't handle success.

We haven't seen any proof Romney paid no taxes in the years Reid stated. A "summary" from this campaign is not returns. If Romney wants to settle this and get his apology, he will have to release the tax documents. He is hiding something, that is for sure.

Romney's been campaigning for 5 and Republicans still don't like him.

"The campaign said that Mr. Romney’s tax liability would have been far lower in 2011 had the Romneys claimed all the full deduction for their charitable contributions. Instead, the campaign said that Mr. Romney took a smaller deduction so that his tax liability would be above the 13 percent that he had earlier said he paid.

“The Romneys thus limited their deduction of charitable contributions to conform to the governor’s statement in August, based upon the January estimate of income, that he paid at least 13 percent in income taxes in each of the last 10 years,” said R. Bradford Malt, Mr. Romney’s trustee."

Romney to Release 2011 Tax Returns - NYTimes.com

Apparently, Romney purposefully paid more taxes than he really owed to avoid contradicting his statement that he never paid less than 13% of his taxes.

This is exactly why Romney was stupid beyond belief to bring up this crap again. I knew this would happen. Lilke a bunch of damned chickens clucking and crapping all over the place.

Thank you, God, for giving me a working brain.
