Romney doesn't have to convince the 47%, just the 5-10%. Historically, the incumbent always has a harder time with the 5-10% if he hasn't convinced them already.

Romney 1040-2011
Do you have his full tax reforms for the past 10-20 years or just that one?

I was a conservative. Loved McCain and did not care for Obama. Until the GOP started getting more and more radical. I dont like extremists. Should McCain not choosen Ms. "I can see russia from my house" he would have won back in 2008.

So sorry. They lost me. Obama is not perfect but anyone but Romney. Anyone.

Whether he hates them or not is irrelevant. He only has to convince the 5-10%ers. The 47%ers cannot be convinced.

Friday afternoon is the worst time to release good news, and the best time to release bad news.

I don't know which is dumber, your idea that bringing his tax returns back into the news is 'good' or that the Friday afternoon timing 'will do'.

Is there anything at all that Mitt Romney could do that you wouldn't immediately pronounce as an excellent move?

I think Romney could toss a burlap sack full of kittens into a river to drown, and you'd procaim it to be an astute political maneuver that would surely soon lead to a rise in the polls...

What would be interesting would be how much of the additional monies he made thanks to the low effective rate actually contributed to job creation. That is the rationale for reduced taxation of the wealthy-they create jobs with the monies they keep rather than surrender to the government.

This is exactly what Obama has on his site, a copy of the 1040, regardless if there is 1 or a 100, this isn't a summary.

A stupid move to prove all the progressive fools wrong? Jeez, how petty can you be? It was a brilliantly timed release that should shut all of you up about how "he's just a greedy capitalist." But that never really mattered, did it?

The timing wasn't good, granted. But doesn't matter because it will get used in ads anyway.

"You didn't build that" is a perpetual gold mine though, so it didn't really matter when Obama said it.

Romney's taxes show him to be the most generous president in history!
Been out of town for a few days. Was Romney elected president while I was gone?
