It's not racist because "poor" is not a race.

Other than that ...

Just a question
Some folks just have a rogue, "I-can-do-whatever-I-want" attitude. What you describe sounds like government office.

NOW it's moving into racist territory a bit. I will tell you, growing up that I knew plenty of non-minorities (I don't like calling people colors) lacked many skills to get ahead. Some were poor, And many were not.

well, if you are directing it towards minorities, which we already knew, and probably just towards blacks specifically, then probably not racist, just ignorant. Any time you try to characterize an entire group of people it is ignorant. you see, this black person, guaranteed knows probably far better then you how to act in an office, how to shop, how to show up to work on time, let alone basic skills, and probably far more advanced skills.

There was actually a thread started by these jokers here at CD that said Michelle Obama was lying about what type of vegetables she was growing in her garden.

Then they wonder why nobody cares when they do actually stumble on one of Obama's misdeeds?

Obama haters have no credibility.

If you post "daily outrages" about bogus issues, people tune you out.

Just a question
Not a racist statement. Not an anti poor statement. Just an unfactual statement.

I know a number of middle-to-upper income folk that could use some to all of those skills.

Myself, I could use assistance learning how to shop and, sometimes, act appropriately in the office.

What's your point?

Ok. But if the audience is primarily black but the speaker is also black, the it's okay to make that statement?

And the other question do you think its proper for a person of authority, a leader persay, to suggest that our society is racist where whites profit by exploiting black people? A person high up in a government position, is it okay for them to suggest this?

Also, if you truly expect me to believe that there is this old hidden unseen speech given by Obama that hasnt seen the light in the 4 years that he has been President of the United States, you're either stupid or delusional.
