No. He came off too clean. That is a problem in a debate forum, because by not pressing, by not pushing back, he looked weak and like he didn't fully believe what he was saying.
Most of the debate is body language and the tone of voice you use. At the end of the day, better to look too aggressive than too soft and polite when you are running for a position of power.
Romney had one of the most decisive victories ever in a debate last week.
Most are calling this one a draw but most highlight Bidens unprofessionalism
No one's vote is going to be changed by a VP debate. And there is no way 70 million even watched this. This fires up the liberal base, and also fires up our base due to Bidens rudeness.
Dude, sometimes it feels like ANYTHING will fire up your base. Winning fires up the conservative base. Losing fires up the conservative base. Legislation of any sort being passed fires up the conservative base. They're always fired up because they're VERY ANGRY PEOPLE.
CNN is using registered voters for its polls so its pretty much meaningless as 99% of those ppl have an opinion set in stone.
THe Focus group CNN was interesting, as they split as a tie. Looking at some other polls of uncommited voters shows more of a biden lean, like the CBS poll.
While not as bad as Obama's thrashing, just looking at a few GOP pundits comments around the web and a reactoin from multiple sources, Biden is the slight winner, especially with him being the "under dog" by expectations (which Ididn't understand why but meh).
I don't understand people trying to say Biden was an underdog, his supposed specialty is foreign policy, he is the sitting VP, Obama had a personal friend as the moderator, and biden has been in debates since before I was born. If anything Ryan should have been the underdog.
