What trend?

In fact, the Democratic "advantage" so far matches the 2004 "advantage", a race they lost by over 10,000 votes.

Still no debate bounce for Obama...

Quote:
Iowa voters think Obama won this week's debate 45/36, similar to New Hampshire, but not having a big impact on the head to head

Well, I for one, never expected a debate bounce. I did expect that the polls would firm up with Obama holding on to slim margins in enough key states that he would win the election and that is exactly what is taking place. Obama does not need a bounce; he just can't weather much of a dip and that clearly is not in the cards at this point.

OH is considered a RED state that goes blue occasionally.

Ohio Presidential Election Voting History

Logic flows that IF PA and MI are so close, the more purple/red states, like OH, VA are already in Mitt's column.

Polls show otherwise in OH at least. Romney's position on the auto industry will cost him Ohio, and his position on immigration will cost him Nevada.
