Just think of what a dastardly conspiracy it must have been to give the Democrats all of those senate and house seats, too. For Pete's sake, they almost got Michelle Bachmann.

Default Was the Election Boched?

I heard, that there were over 80 districts in and around Philly that didn't have one, not one vote for Romney????????

Now isn't that strange?

Not really. This campaign ran on social issues rather than fiscal issues.

Social issues get emotions riled up and are much easier to understand and make up your mind.
Most Americans don't understand the fiscal issues and don't want to deal with taxes/cuts.

The expression goes, "signs don't vote". ppl that judge elections based on yard signs are often surprised at the final outcome.

Most ppl don't like putting up signs becuz they dont want to take grief from their neighbor. Many dems that I taken to are convinced that they are the "only dem on the street" and would never put up a sign. Having a votebuilder account on my phone I was able to show some that they were wrong, in many cases there were many other dems on their street.

Obama contested this county, having three OFA offices, so we had an active sign campaign. We had more signs than ever before and way more Obama signs than RMONEY signs everywhere. Obama didn't win our county and, so far, took less votes than 2008.

Signs tend to make ppl happy. When you see dozens of the opponent's signs it only take one or two to make you feel better. I cannot count the times someone came in for signs becuz they were tired of seeing opposition signs unanswered.

I still have my dems bumperstickers and haven't encountered anything but positive reactions.

There is nothing much being done to prevent fraud -- no photo ID, no need to bring voters registration card when you show up to vote. All you have to do in very many states is just give an address that belongs to the precinct and you can vote. You do not have to prove anything.

In Ohio you need an ID.

Give an address or a name? At my polling place, you are asked your name and your name must appear in the book they have. Not sure what the official name of the book is, but it has all the registered voters in the area listed in it, alongside a facsimile of your signature from your voters card. You have to sign next to facsimile too.

Ok I waited a week like a said I would before commenting on this election if Mittens lost so.....

1. Mitt got his but kicked because he didnt have as good a ground game as Obummers
2. Mitt got his butt kicked because he couldn't connect to people like the Obungler- Charisma.
3. Mitt got his butt kicked because 3 million conservative voters sat it out because of the Ron Paul effect. He didnt create a buzz for himself.
4. Mitt got his butt kicked because he didnt go negative early enough (early summer) and he was too fuzzy on his policies (which all presidential candidates are for the most part).

This election was his to win and Obumbums to lose.

Now the *******ians are having a good ole time but what they are talking about is the almost 9 million votes that Onumbnut's lost from 2008 or 13 percent.

So in effect Mitt was somwhat responsible for his own loss more than Obummers was responsible for his win.

Which worked out for me as I won some money betting on HusseinO even if I did vote for Mittens.

See you at the mid terms *******s. Gird your loins its gonna be a rocky two years.
