There is a saying that most Latinos are Republicans, they just don't know it yet. The Republican party platform speaks to the conservative values that the majority of Latinos tend to fall under.

The problem is that most Hispanics/Latinos in this country are from Mexican roots. They overwhelmingly vote Democrat and it's mostly because of their amnesty stance for illegal aliens whom are also mostly Mexicans. Their impact on this election wasn't the one that the Democrats had hoped for.
