Where did Trump say that he wants to send those born here back home? Mexicans here illegally are more spoke about simply because they are here in the largest numbers illegally. When has Trump or anyone else said that they only want Mexican illegals to go home? If one can come here legally due to harsh conditions in their homelands we don't have a problem with that. If not, they can't come illegally instead. No one is being discriminated against if that is what is being implied here. No one is allowed to come here simply based on economic need, however.

No vested interest in the "immigration" fight? Yeah right, we can read, can't we?

You draw the line between Immigrants and Illegal Aliens. Trump isn't against Immigrants, and no one else I know is. Trump is against Illegal Aliens. They aren't the same thing.

Read a census from the 1800s. Farmer, farmer, farmer, farmer... Sure, there was the exception but mostly just farmers.

Actually Trumps mother and her family came here based on economic need.

Are you saying I'm an immigrant? No. I noted that Trumps own mother came here from Scotland based on economic need.

And, besides, why is it even relevant as to how recent the candidates' ancestors arrived here?

Did you start a thread about how Obama's father was from Kenya and never became a US citizen? Somehow I doubt it.
His mother immigrated from Scotland, his father's parents immigrated from Germany. Donald Trump's ancestry in the U.S. is actually pretty new.

Exactly? Who in the world has said we could reach zero illegal immigration but we need to eliminate as many as we can. I have heard this argument before. We shouldn't try to put a dent in it because it won't stop all of them?

How do you plan on rounding up 11 million? Where are you going to keep them? How much are you willing to spend? How many people are you planning to use to chase after all those expired Visas? Where will you drop them off? Are you going to fly the 30% that are from other countries back to their countries? How will you fund that? Just questions that come to mind since it's estimated it will cost at least $200 trillion.

That's what happens when you try to open a "Birther" look alike thread. No one cares about his Parents, or Grandparents, any more than we care about yours. I would not care if they where Ethiopian, Catholic, Devil Worshipping, Socialist leaning, Communist Chicken Pluckers. Its about Trump

A birther? Get serious. Trump was the original birther. The funniest thing in the world was watching Trump stomp out of the Correspondent's Dinner after Obama chided him in his speech followed by getting bin Laden the next day. Watching the GOP massive love affair with Donald Trump is fascinating to watch.

So...you didn't look at any of those links that were provided to you.

Good grief! This has been discussed many, many times on and on ad nauseum.

No one is talking about rounding up illegals. I guess I have to repeat myself because, clearly, you weren't paying attention. Make live difficult for illegal aliens and they will leave on their own accord. I'll explain further because I'm sure you don't understand as to how to accomplish this---Make E-verify the law of the land and run everybody in the work force through it to weed out the 8 million no-match SSNs. Do away with the whole birth tourism/anchor baby fiasco. Make it impossible for illegals to find work or access any welfare benefits and they will leave.

You have an odd way of thinking.

Trump's grandparents were immigrants. That makes him second generation American born. That is hardly "very new".

"Very new"---as I explained to you once before---is a living immigrant who was born elsewhere and now is either a legal resident or a naturalized citizen.

Again, did you start a thread about how Obama's father was born in Kenya and never became a US citizen? Somehow I doubt it considering you have a double standard. The fact that Obama's father was born in another country is okay with you. Yet, when discussing republicans you have to nitpick about their ancestry. You're not fooling anyone.
