Everybody seems to have an opinion about Donald Trump, who is going to chime in next, the Dalai Lama?

Pope never talked about Trump directly. A reporter asked him what he thought of a person who would build a wall to keep people in need out. The Pope said instead of a wall they should build bridges to help the people. Then they asked what would you think of a person who built a wall to keep out folks in need and he said that would not be a good christian.

The whole thing is stupid.

I know. With everyone chiming in, you'd think there was some global agenda against Trump.

And just what is Christian about illegal aliens invading our borders and causing harm to our own citizens? What is Christian about the Pope defending law breakers who are violating God's commandments?

There are many who say that the Vatican wall is kept intact to keep all the little altar boys from escaping!

Nothing to worry about, folks. Trump says if he is elected he'll clean up his language and be a nice guy. And if he does, how long will his fan club stick to his side like glue?

As to helping Trump, I tend to disagree. The Catholics in America no longer vote on abortion as the main issue. Also, a majority have voted for Obama in the last two elections. This despite his administration being unfriendly toward many Catholic issues and institutions.

So to think Trump can be criticized by this popular Pope (especially among Hispanics) and it not have a negative effect among Catholics, is mistaken.
Furthermore, if Trump holds to his pattern of verbally attacking anyone who is critical of him, look out. If he sticks his foot in his mouth against the Pope, he will lose many of the people he needs to win either election.

Why would Hispanics be critical of Trump for his stance on illegal immigration? Aren't they obligated to respect our immigration laws just as everyone else is?
