How do you figure?

Today, 8 in 10 Hispanic voters have an unfavorable view of Trump. That includes more than 7 in 10 who have a “very unfavorable” impression of him, which is more than double the percentage of any other major candidate.

Cruz might win Texas today and he will proclaim that the landscape has changed and he is the Donald slayer. Rubio will come in 2/3/4th and make the same claim. The reality is clear; Trump has won the Republican nomination unless they come up with a way to cheat him out of it. Clinton will put Bernie away today as well. The primary season ends tonight. The excitement now will be what the Rs come up with to deal with their Trump problem. It was just pathetic this morning watching the Speaker assert that Republicans are not white supremacists even as their nominee won't say that.

It'll likely be a narrow win for Rafael and Trump could still come out of Texas with a good handful of delegates. I expect the also-rans to remain in until after the 15th of this month.

I like Rubio. I've been a steady donor to his campaign. But the truth is, he hasn't caught on with the American public this year. If the GOP tries some half-assed brokered convention I hope Rubio is smart enough to stay away from it, because if he doesn't it will mean the end of his political career.

Exactly. But it's sad that the public doesn't see that.

Rubio will probably win Puerto Rico and it's 23 delegates by a landslide on Sunday so that's one victory for him. Rubio also does reasonably well in Virginia and Minnesota.

That said, the reality is - sadly so - that I don't really see how Trump can be stopped at this point. It's great that Rubio and Cruz are starting to fight back but this is something they should have been doing months ago. At this point I think our best bet is a brokered convention where Rubio or Cruz somehow come out on top. Maybe even someone like Paul Ryan or Mitt Romney (who's name just won't stop coming up). Otherwise, I think alot of conservatives are going to walk on the GOP if Trump gets the nomination. This #NeverTrump movement is exploding.

Agree with the article. Unfortunately, it seems to be the moment for wild-eyed, frothing at the mouth types who are willing to give Hillary the Presidency in a temper tantrum just to spite the GOP.

Oh well, we can survive a Hillary Presidency. The GOP should concentrate on holding Congress and looking forward to 2020.

Rubio or bust? Hah!

The Republican stalwarts are looking at a candidate with almost 100% recognition (yes, Republicans should start looking at that factor as Dems have done), and who appears to be ready to barrel through the primaries.

Yet, instead of perhaps taking him aside to address what they consider to be "rough edges," they intend to impede him at every turn, and are looking for ways to strip him of delegates. Yes, personally, we'll survive 8 years of Hillary, and those who can't, deserve what they vote for.

The Republican establisment are dumb as a box o' rocks.

Essentially that's telling Republicans that their vote doesn't count. That'd probably be the end of the GOP as we know it today which may not be such a bad thing.

I'm already giddy with anticipation if a brokered convention happens. Can you imagine the scene?
