Martin Luther King also committed plagiarism. While working on his dissertation for his doctoral degree at Boston University, he heavily plagiarized from another author who had done research on a subject similar to King's. As academic committee later found that over half of King's work was plagiarized, yet would not revoke his doctrine. King was dead by this time, and the committee ruled that revoking the title would serve no purpose. It was also discovered that King's famous I HAVE A DREAM speech was also not his own. He stole it from a sermon by Archibald Carey, a popular black preacher in the 1950's.
but don't tell that to the MLK lovers......they don't talk about the famous "I have a dream speech"

Martin Luther King Jr didn't run for president. Plagiarism seems to be a pattern with Donald Trump. He had to know and if he didn't, how can we trust someone leading our nation when he doesn't even know what's going on in his campaign?
Didn't read the whole thread but a couple of points:
One, does Michelle actually own the words now? Can people not feel the same about points and use the language they like? Haven't we all done that? I sure don't feel guilty, but I am not a victim of the thought police either.
Does anyone think Michelle wrote her own speech? Did anybody read her college term paper ?
They probably had the same speech writers.
The media must be Desperate to go through an entire speech and nitpick like that

Silly but if that was the case, why would you put Melania on camera claiming to have written the speech herself? It would only serve to humiliate her when everyone recognizes the same speech.
She didn't claim to have written the speech herself.
Who really cares? Shes better looking. It was a better speech than Fat Michelle.
So you measure the competency of the person giving the speech by how thin they are? Then you must admit President Obama is far more competent than Trump could ever hope to be.
Would you give up your job to someone else thinner than you are because they would obviously be more competent? Should everyone give up their jobs to the thinner person because that's how competency is measured?
It doesn't matter than Melania couldn't write her own speech in spite of claiming to, because...she's thinner?
