The president cannot make the decision to go to war. It has to be voted on and she did vote to do so.

Hillary is to blame...only Congress can vote to go to war and fund a war. I remember thinking at the time, what right do we have to attack iraq....they weren't involved in 911. Trump had then and now has better judgement than Hillary.

Trump must have forgot about a Howard Stern interview in 2002. On September 11, 2002, exactly a year after the 911 terrorist attack he told Howard Stern that he was OK with invading Iraq. Hillary should still be criticized for voting for it, but Trump needs to be held accountable for his statements too.

Private citizen. Not privy to all information that a senator would have.

if hillary isn't held accountable for ANYTHING why are you holding Trump accountable for something that he said 14 years ago that he could have changed his mind at some point in the last 14 years.

No, I'm not. Exactly what part of what I said is wrong? My grandparents lived in Saudi Arabia for a while, and so I have a general understanding of how women are supposed to act. If they follow the same tenets of their religion, whether or not they are Americans, then I'm not wrong. I didn't post links of khan's pushing for Sharia, but the info is out there. I also had the pleasure of working with an Iranian woman for 5 years, and she told us often about how life in Iran is for women. Pretty brutal from what I heard.

WOW: Blue Star Mom Responds To Muslim Father

This is interesting. Sadly the way the blue star mom feels is a lot of how I feel if God forbid my husband pays the ultimate price.

Trump either did not tell the truth or he forgot, but he is on record being supportive of the invasion. Changing one's mind later after the damage has been done is not a credible reply, because as Commander in Chief one has to decide in real time. Both candidates were wrong on Iraq. That is all I am saying.

I was able to be against it from the very start and was and still am a private citizen. Still remember talking with friends about it back then. Trump had just better be prepared to answer that as a possible debate question or at a press conference and Clinton will likely be challenged too. I hold the candidates equally accountable. Agree with most that Clinton has given lame replies regarding her email scandal. (What the heck is "shortcircuiting"? Just should say she was wrong and be done with it. Lol). I don't control the media. I am strongly considering supporting Johnson/Weld if they can qualify for the debates.

She has every right to disagree with Mr. Khan, but then she is just as guilty of using her son's combat experience as a pawn too if one applies similar logic to her. You can't have it both ways. Blue Star and Gold Star parents have every right to speak their views. She would have been better served just to disagree without using that derogatory phrase IMO.

If I were Trump I would stop messing with this guy, thank his son for his service, and move on with my life.
