"The poll included a sample of Ohio voters who have already participated via either absentee voting or early in-person voting, based on reporting from the Ohio Secretary of State that is tracked on TargetSmart’s voter file. Among these early voters, the survey finds Clinton with a 7-point lead over Trump, 48 to 41 percent. Our poll suggests that Secretary Clinton has banked substantially more votes ahead of the election than Trump. Moreover, as we saw in our recent research in Florida among early voters, a significant number of Republicans have already crossed over to support Clinton,” said TargetSmart pollster Ben Lazarus.
TargetSmart – TargetSmart/William & Mary Release Final 2016 Election Survey of Ohio Early and Likely Voters
Tom Bonier (targetsmart) tweeted on this a few minutes ago. He said there are two components here, a regular poll and a poll of early voters. In the EV poll, women are turning out at 57% and are going to Clinton by over 30 points. In the regular poll they did not use the 57%, but their usual 52% estimate which favors Trump. If the women turnout continues to outperform the assumptions, then Clinton will likely take Ohio. It's up to the ladies.

Just read a Facebook post that hit home.

Today is like hovering in an ICU waiting room. Every once in a while, someone in scrubs comes out to say blood pressure has dropped and our hearts all skip a beat. Then someone says that pulse is holding steady and we all breathe a sigh of relief.

Two more days.

Those bad hombres finished him off in Nevada and probably Florida too. They say Ohio is a bellwether. If the outsized and unforeseen women's vote and margin in Ohio plays out nationwide, this could end up in a Mondale style election.
