In terms of race relations though things seem a lot worse now than prior to his presidency. A lot of it is the media feeding into it though.

I don't really think Hillary would make things much "better" for women .

I think her bigger obligation will be to the special interests and donors .
The run between Obama and Hillary in the 08 primary was on the campaign, and not on being the first AA or first woman. However in the general it did become being the first AA, as it would have been being the first woman if Hillary had won the nomination. Says too much about the electorate. Does not bode well for the US long term.

This ^^

So many people do not want Hillary to win, the independents and even some Democrats switched to the Republican party this time around for the primaries. This is predominantly why the establishment Republican candidates lost out. That, and the Republicans that were becoming disillusioned with the Republicrats that have been running things in their party and causing it to lose.

It's a shame the first woman elected will be a crook who will take your hard earned money and slam the constitution with it.

This election is positive in that aspect. Voting down Trump is also positive.
There's nothing wrong with wanting to elect a female as president, but maybe you could wait until you have one who isn't a corrupt, lying, self-serving, criminal, evil beast like Hillary.

Voting for someone solely because they are female is the STUPIDEST reason to vote for President of the United States.

what's next? lets have the first gay President to make history....the first Latino, the first Asian.

Democrats see us the voters as genders and race, that's how they campaign and govern.....sad!

Why not? And you can be sure they will all be Democrats, the party that brought you your first black president and will soon bring you your first woman president. While your party is still trying to push women and minorities back into the 1950s.

LOL. Okay, if it makes you feel more comfortable with your blinders on, that's fine. Meanwhile, back in the real world, those of us who don't walk around blindfolded all day see how conservatives have treated minorities, women, Muslims and everyone else who isn't a white male Christian. There are none so blind...

Yeah we saw how the first black president worked out. So much for hope and change, eh? Unless you listen to the liberal mainstream media.

Funny that it is the only thing Democrats can brag about. Republicans have a much better history with the country. Republicans freed the slaves AND were anti-segregation. Don't forget it was the Democrats who were pro-slavery.

And your blanket statement has no facts to back that statement up.
