This election is positive in that aspect. Voting down Trump is also positive.

No, progressives freed the slaves, and progressives passed Civil Rights. Social conservatives--who make up a large portion of today's Republican party--aggressively fought both of those things. Whatever party labels were at the time is immaterial to your argument.

But go ahead, bury yourself in history from 150 years ago. The really important question is, what is the party of Conservative fighting against NOW when it comes to women and minorities and non-Christians? All of a sudden your fictional progressive-looking party looks down right Neanderthal, huh?

I'm not seeing that, its all in your head. What do you mean when it comes to women? Because of abortion? Boohoo. I could say the same thing about liberals and unborn babies. What do you mean minorities? Because of illegals? If anything its the liberals who aren't treating the races equally with affirmative action. Non-Christians? If anything its the liberals who are fighting to war AGAINST Christians. Trying to ban the 10 commandments and Christmas trees on state/federal property. Ever hear of freedom OF religion?

Correction that's the Dem party. Watch Hillary's America to get educated.
