I hadn't seen his earlier posts. So, my guess was out of ignorance

However, I still think that as the challenger, O'Rourke needs to step up and debate Cruz. I don't know the specifics of why he backed out of today's debate. But it would be smart for him to debate Cruz before election day.

Because Ted Cruz will not negotiate and has taken a take it or leave it approach where Ted Cruz decides the dates, decides the locations, decides the topics, decides the formats, and decides the moderators.

Well they debated and Beto came off with more class and knowledge in my opinion. Cruz was unable to control himself, he made smirky faces and was very defensive rather than confident.

Beto won the debate in my opinion.

I cannot vote for Cruz because I believe fracking should not be forced on people and communities.
