To you fellow conservatives out there do you realize we've already lost the 2008 election? We don't have to wait for November. It's over.
Obama is a hard core leftist who, if he wins, will stack the courts with loony judges imposing their personal social views on all of us no matter what the people want. He'll raise taxes right and left.
Hillary pretty much the same thing plus her big bureaucratic health care scheme from the 90s all over again.
McCain? ha! His whole career has been kicking conservatives to the curb to make deals with Democrats and with a likely increased majority of Democrats in Congress, he's just going to cut deals with them. he won't fight them.
So what will we get for the next 4 years? Higher taxes, more social engineering, very liberal judges, plus global warming regulation on every business in America.
Ah well, there's always the next election and until then, I still have ESPN.

GW ruined it for us conservatives, this year's election is a product of the Bush administration. Truth be told, if a democrat would have been in GW's spot the election would have been the exact opposite. Even the republican running has to be somewhat liberal to even have a chance. I still have to choose McCain over any socialists.

You know, I am one of these Moderate Conservatives who hate McCain. But looking at how incompetent and ill-prepared Obama is and how radical he is, I will go with McCain... al the way.

Don't give up. Go out and vote. Get a yard sign. Volunteer for McCain and Conservative Congressional candidates. It is the only way we can save America from the Obomination... I mean abomination in terms of economics, taxes, foreign affairs, and other aspects of our country that will hit the crapper if Obama were to win.

McCain 2008!!

Why can't Republicans find a way to spend less and shrink government? And, I wouldn't mind "social engineering" if the middle class benefitted from it; in particular engineer fewer immigrants, less affirmative action, and less outsourcing to low cost overseas sweatshops.

Sincerely,
An ex-Republican

I am a conservative, but I can't and won't vote for McCain. He's another Bush/Clinton and I can't be an accessory to further plundering of the country down the toilet.

I will be sitting out November and hoping the country survives one of these loons over the next four years. Maybe we as a nation can get up enough guts and smarts to recruit a real leader next time round. Starting now would be good.
