Attachment 27845 I enlisted in the United States Marine Corp in 1981. When I was in recruit training, I learned about Lt. Col. McCain and what he did. He could have left early, but he refused. How many of us could actually do that? The real answer to your questions is the traitors went to Canada and Oxford, England. I think he understands that slimerags will alway put themselves before country (I won't mention anyone currently running for the Office of President). McCain takes a lot of heat for doing what is in the nations interest. He's still a hero!
A traitor because he may have broke under pressure? Coming from those who feel wearing womens panties is torture?
Traitor. Hanoi Jane why wasn't she sent to prison? Our POW's gave her messeges to bring home and she gave them to the enemy then did propaganda photo shoots for them.
No McCain is no traitor but he is human. No human can withstand torture indefinetly.
Its more than a little sad that anyone would fault him if he broke.

I think we all know what you mean here, and that's pretty sleezy. One can be just a patriotic serving their country at home as they can be serving abroad.
Hey freefall,
Have you ever even been in the millitary?
Have you been captured and tortured for years?
If the answer is no to either question, then you have no right to question anyone who has served their country or been tortured by a ruthless enemy.
But you should already know that since you sound like one of those people who are convinced they are 100% perfect in their own unchallenged mind.
lol you know he never served . He confuses the movies where the Hero never breaks with real life.
Its to bad people like him benefit from the service of military personel . Than again his post is so "out there" that he just might be trying to get a responce.

Not comparable. But true you can be a good patriot without having served in the military.
This is the mentality I disagree with. Being in the military does not automatically make someone a patriot. I have many friends joining the military only because they want the college tuition. I realize that this is not always the case and that you can want college tutition and be patriotic, but why is it less patriotic to be a police officer or a fire fighter, or run a non-profit community service like a homeless shelter. I think these jobs are all deserving of respect and admiration, but only soldiers ever seem to get the groupies.
