UK has a student body of 30,000+. Things happen and there are every type of person represented. When I was in school in the 90s the student body president was black and apparently again in 2006. I think the fact that the student body elected him/her says a lot more than one redneck racist scribbling a racist slur on his door. Keep your bashing of Lexington and UK to the Kentucky forum where you usually post it.

Wow, the McCain supporters are just beyond uneducated.
Even if that is true (this sounds like something David Duke would say), the % of whites lynched, is higher than the % of blacks lynched and no group ever terrorized whites by hanging them (the KKK did that to blacks and were proud of it).

Why would you say that about the leading University in your own state? I don't agree with the hanging of effigies of anyone, Palin or Obama, but I am sure this was a college prank.

I think he is an undergrad at U of L. He won't defend his statements either, that is the part that irks me. He bashes places in these forums, he gets challenged and he never responds.

No, the Palin one was taken down.

Though it is not right to noose Palin in effigy, you cannot deny that it is INCREDIBLY different to hang Obama in Effigy. Have you studied our recent American history and racial relations in this country?
