If you have an aversion to pork and beef, British cuisine is not for you, but fish is a pretty big part of British cuisine as well (salmon, cod, tuna etc).

Moving to any of those countries nowadays isnt exactly like moving to some Germanic tribe. Who cares if the food isnt originally British, fact is, you have a lot of choice in what youd like to eat everyday.
Cowards? It escapes you that Romans since Arausio were constantly defeating Germanic peoples aside from few occasions?
English is a Germanic language which has lost most of its Germanic features: a much simpler grammar, tons of words from other languages, no cases except for saxon's genitive, a mixed phonology.
Curiously: German, the most spoken Germanic language in Europe in terms of native speaker, has essentially a Latin grammar, funny isn't it?
Much better sailors than Romans? Vikings were, and they were at least 400 years after the Roman Empire's fall.
Germanic peoples weren't famous for being sailors: Vandals had a huge fleet but they lacked the discipline of the Roman Navy, their victories were mostly due to Roman errors or incompetence.
Vikings reached North America, it's known, yet they were too few and they were overwhelmed by local natives and they failed to give the word news of their achievement.
Plus, Vikings colonized both Iceland and Greenland, in both they cut almost all trees with awful consequences: in Greenland they soon died of hunger and in Iceland they caused a widespread poverty: just read Jared Diamond about this.
The British Empire comprised enormous wastelands in Africa, Canada and Australia: it never reached the level of efficiency of the Roman Empire.
Just consider that most of industrial production was in England and that most investments were far less advantageous than made in other countries.
On the other hand, the Roman Empire not only brought the law, the language, roads, but it literally changed the provinces: Celtic Gaul and Hispania were literally wiped out and left in the Roman custom: Roman brought everything from the modern concept of Nation to laws.
Romans gave us this alphabet we are using, most of the laws indirectly come from them, their engineering achievements are still studied and their military ones too.
Nobody denies the achievement of Germanic peoples: but saying that ancient Germanic peoples were super-human compared to coward Romans is simply falsifying history.
As I said: Romans left us the Colosseum, ANCIENT Germanic peoples? Huts? Some stone with rune? The devastation brought all over the Empire through plunder, killings and rape? The final demise of the stablest Empire ever in favour of the Middle Age which saw for its first 500 years darkness and cruelty?

Wrong! North Germanics had their own system of writing called Runes way before they became "sissified" by Latin alphabet later! My Anglo-Saxon ancestors, I believe also had a rune-type of handwriting called futhorc. I would call that illiterate.

Romance Europe The languages of French Italian and Spanish are not called the languages of love for no reason. they sound beautiful. south Europe has a more beautiful landscape , climate. the top three most visited countries in Europe are France, spain and Italy and for good reason.
Comparing the Roman Empire to the germanic tribe is just ridiculous. calling romans cowards, is ridiculous.
