Most foodstuff are genetically modified. Potatoes, Sweet peppers, Cucumbers, Tomatoes, Apples, etc

Tomatoes especially taste like cardboard.

What are you talking about, here? Most foodstuffs in your country? In the US? In Europe? Whose tomatoes taste like cardboard? Genetically modified in what way? Hybridized, you mean? Yes, humans have been hybridizing crops for thousands of years. That's different from what's called GMO foods today.

Nice try at throwing people for a loop, though.

The tomatoes are genetically modified to stay fresh in the fridge for weeks. They are waterless, bland and small. *Vomits*

What do you mean by throwing people for a loop? What did I do?

The tomatoes I buy aren't, because I buy organic ones, which as I stated, are extremely easy to find in the US, especially when they're "in season." Oh, the farmer's markets! WOOHOOOO!!!

they have organic supermarkets and markets in the US where you can buy all kind of organic stuff... I don't know why Europeans think it's an exclusive thing of Europe

There's a farmers market in central London but I'm lazy to go that far.

There are no variants of genetically modified tomatoes on the market, in Europe, the UK, the USA, or elsewhere. The only genetically modified tomato ever for sale, the "Flavr Savr" was taken off the market back in 1998 due to poor sales. The reason why tomatoes are bland is because the most planted tomato variants are planted for their color, not their flavor. This is because they are mostly grown to be processed into sauces and condiments.
