My buddy and I were discussing this last week. We're both 40y/o.

We both commented on how a lot of men out of our generation still dress like little kids.

BRIGHT WHITE "gym" shoes, ball caps(worn backwards), shirts with silly writing on the front,etc....

The only time I wear "gym" shoes, is when I work out. They are not apart of my daily attire.

What are you thoughts?

Men can still dress nice and casual while being classy and relaxed.

Casual is cool.

Grab a pair of Sperry Topsiders.....and can the gym shoes.

I think you and your friend worry too much about others. In matters as trivial as daily attire, live and let live.

While I don't dress the way that offends you so, I also don't bother worrying about how others dress.

As for myself, I dress in practical ways that please me, not so as to please some nobody who thinks I have an obligation to dress for his approval...

I guess it depends on what its for, I work in a trade, ballcaps keep dust, dirt, and the sun out of my eyes; in fact it serves that purpose no matter what I'm doing.

I do agree though that fratboy jock attire looks silly once you're no longer a member of that demographic.

BTW, these threads never end all that well, popcorn anyone?

The thing I find annoying are men who tweeze their eyebrows to the point where you wonder if are moonlighting as drag queens.

That's because those that have no interest have to make it known that they have no interest.

They're are PLENTY of threads that don't interest me, therefore, I keep it moving....and not respond.

Usually people that respond with nasty posts, are usually subject of the post.

True that. And I will add that people can't seem to disagree nicely, they always have to get snippy about it.

Yes. nicely put. "Snippy", good word.

I wonder if they communicate in real life the same way. That would be terrible.
