Still be fine as wine. NOT GONNA DO ANYTHING. There would have to be a freaky change to blow up like Charlie did in 04 and that is not gonna happen. Whatever i type you can take to the bank hank as i know more about this stuff than anyone.

Upper levels are all wrong to allow good outflow and exhaust. Without that the storm can do nothing. Kinda like a car running out of gas las.
May blow a coconut off a tree and that is about it down that way so don't stand under a coconut palm.

It does look as though it might well be the case. It's partly cloudy with the sun peaking out today in our neck of the woods today, with pretty much the normal summer pattern of PM scattered rain showers that don't last long. They're saying the Ft. Myers area will most likely be seeing some rain, some wind from the outer bands of Elsa beginning tomorrow evening, but you know how those go. You'll be long arrived at your destination by then. I don't know how close Elsa will get to the west coast, but being on the "dirty" side of the storm we're bound to get some wind and rain around Tuesday as the thing makes its closest approach to the coast. So you can figure on some inside entertainment then unless you relish walking along the beach to experience the winds and wave action during a tropical storm ( some people do, though I wouldn't get too close to the water, undertows can be deadly under those conditions). In any case, those winds and waves during a storm can bring in
lots of great seashells, so you might get some real beauties if your plans include shelling after the storm goes by.

In any case, you'll be fine. Have a great time!
