We'll be attending a wedding in the St Louis vicinity. For those unfamiliar with catered receptions held in this area, we can surely expect the usual: baked mostaccioli. We'll probably also be served an Italian salad, Italian potatoes, and Italian bread with butter. No, the bride and groom aren't the least bit Italian; this is just the norm for wedding food 'round here!

We are going out with our daughter and son in law to the yacht club (no, it isn't as fancy as it sounds and there are more just plain boats than yacht) It does overlook one of our lakes. I will have my usual: crab legs, salad and a veggie. There are always enough crab legs to bring some home.
Saturday is dinner out day---yippiiee!! Mexican tonight!! I'm thinking a nice big chicken soup--they make a killer chicken Mexican soup. Fresh avacados on top--yummy!
I'm feeling like spaghetti and meatballs, so pretty soon I'll need to get into the kitchen and start working on it. Probably a nice salad too.
I've got some beans soaking for some ham and bean soup tomorrow.
