Dinner tonight is a loaded baked potato (sour cream, cheese, butter, crumbled bacon) and a caesar salad with garlic breadsticks. Sweet iced tea to drink.
Store had 8-pound bone-in picnics for a dollar a pound. So I cut the pork off to put in the freezer for later, and threw the bone in the pressure cooker with a half a cabbage, an onion and some potatoes and carrots, seasoned only with paprika. Wonderful.
I have ground beef to use up and I'm kind of tired of everything, so I'm just going to brown it up and toss it into the crockpot with a bottle of BBQ sauce. I'll pick up a couple of large, crusty rolls today to put it on. Cole slaw on the side.
