Haven't decided how I will fix the pork loin yet! Also steamed broccoli, baked sweet potatoes, an apple dish (my neighbor gave me a bag) and Cole's bread.

Clearing my head after the job search related project and the next few things to do.

Ah, the pork is smelling good. I decided to roast the tenderloin as I'm home today taking an on - line assessment, doing research on companies, making phone calls, etc. I coated it with Italian seasoning, paprika, olive oil, marsala wine, salt and pepper. The drippings will make a yummy little pan sauce. I'm baking the apples with butter, vanilla, brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg.

What makes this smell and taste even better is the cost -- I bought the pork and the wine on sale.

My neighbor does hers in the crockpot to make it pulled pork

1 large onion sliced
a 2-3 lb pork loin
1 packet lipton onion soup mix
salt and pepper to taste
1 cup water
BBQ sauce

Place the sliced onions on the bottom of crockpot, sprinkle with salt and pepper, lay pork loin on top. Mix lipton onion soup mix with 1 cup water, pour over pork. add maybe 1/2 cup more water. Cook on low 4 hours. After 4 hours add BBq sauce about 2/3 of a cup either your favorite bottled or homeade bbq sauce. Cover and cook 1 more hour. take pork out and shred with 2 forks. put back in pot for another 1/2 hour.

I'm making Paula Deen Beef stroganoff. We should have a veg or salad, but probably won't.
