Morning all-hey Chey and Yong L sorry got you two mixed up-it's an age thing-LOL.

Wow you were all busy last night and everything sounded wonderful. Have my beef/veg soup in the garage and wow what a layer of grease to pick off. I always let soups sit cause I hate the "mouth-feel" of grease.

That prime rib will pay for itself as we had 2 dinners and will have loads of soup in the freezer.

So close to the 20,000 mark-bet we make it by tonight.

It's 13 below w/wind chill of 35 below and loads of snow out there-yuk.

Good morning all. It's been snowing really hard for the first time in ages. Can't remember when I took a walk in the snow the last time. So it was the first thing we did this morning and DS just loved it. His first snow impression.

Today I stuffed cabbage leaves with ground meat and put them in an oven dish. I poured this kind of sourcream sauce/gravy over it and let it boil and cook in the oven for about 45 minutes. Along with it we had potatoes.

Elston, my dear, that "is" why they do those "do-not-do" things---because we told them "not" to! I think they want to know why we don't want them to do those things. Ha! That was cute elston and oh so true!
Raining here but in the 40's so I'm not complaining!
I forgot to soak the dried beans last night so guess I'll either soak them tonight or do the "quick" method today. Does anyone know how well that quick soak works?

Tonight will be chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and corn. I'm craving a green salad with lots of goodies in it so I'll make that to go along with dinner tonight.

Day 16---no smoking! I cut the patch in half and seem to be doing fine with only half! My sleep was much better last night. Still had some dreams but not nearly as exhausting or colorful. Still weird..ha! I can deal with these dreams though!
