OMG, I was making my soup earlier and the phone rang. At the same time that I was adding a LITTLE crushed red pepper, my daughter tells me I am going to be a grandmother again. You guessed it, in went a LOT of crushed red!! For a moment I forgot what I was adding, needles to say I now have a SPICEY soup, lol.
purple hull peas
speckled butter beans
home made tomato soup
fried potatoes
meatloaf
jello
sigh, I got hungry for comfort food and decided to make all of it so we could eat left overs tomorrow night. I do think dh will be pleased as we have really been eating healthy since the new year.

Well Congrats! My mother (if she cooked) would have done the same thing lol.
I haven't cooked a real meal in a couple of weeks! But, I have chicken, frozen homemade spaghetti sauce, parmesan cheese, and pasta, so chicken cacciatore here we come!
Tonight it is my boyfriend's sister's birthday and we are going to eat at a restaurant of her choice tonight. I had a huge turkey, salami, cheese, lettuce, tomato, mustard, mayo sandwich at lunch ..... so I think I need something light! (which is a real challenge for me to order when I go out to eat!!)
Sometimes we enjoy ordering appetizers (variety) for dinner rather than a meal-just graze. Have fun.
I love doing that! you get to taste everything that way, yes, I am one of those folks that want to eat off YOUR plate.
