It is almost daylight now so time to start thinking about dinner. We are heavily stocked with chicken but I still want a BLT....with pickled beets on the side.

I just read them all and it was like re-visiting comfort-food memories with a new twist. Thanks for sharing.....I read them and now I feel full. The green bean casserole is pretty much the way I did it for Thksgvng)....I didnt want to use canned beans and soup for my thanksgiving....so I adapted using fresh ingredients. (Not sure it was enjoyed as much as the tried and true....recipe on the can of ff onions ....but I felt better about it.)

DH will be back today so my cooking time of the week will start. I already found some nice recipes on the web for Indian and Greek food. I'm still in my experimental phase. Need to write a shopping list on what to buy for all these new things!

Hello All.... Yesterday was such a crazy day... Diva had a really rough morning where she was all teared up going into school... turned out she was really sick with a cold and came home with a fever later in the day (EXPLAINS A LOT!!!!- told me I didn't love her when I dropped her off- broke my heart)....was like Chatterbox on Friday where it came on all of a sudden.... Chatterbox had to go to the DR for her ears yesterday.... then there were other dramas... it was just never ending. I really needed a nice massage and a bottle of wine yesterday.... and a never ending bag of kettle chips.... UGH....

Today... Diva is home from school and Chatterbox doesn't have school since it is Thurs.... but she is still not feeling her best as it is. So, I am hoping the two of them sit on their duffs and call it a movie day.

Tonight it is turkey meat loaf, scalloped potatoes, wax beans, carrots.... and unfortunately... that is all I have in the house for the veggies... I have not gone grocery shopping for veggies this week. I am hoping to stretch it to Sat so I can get to the Farmers Market. I have enough fruit I can pull something off for tomorrow and the kids are going with the grandparents most of the afternoon... so that might just be possible. Just worried about Diva..... That belly has been a bit of a kink I didn't plan on. I had just purchased two giant bottles of PREGO from BJ's for my last minute meals that I don't think I am going to be able to use.... at least not until the PREVACID really kicks in next week (that is when the DR thinks it will start really working)..... ugh.....

Good morning friends.

Poor Diva and poor Mommy!!!!

Tonight will be hot meatloaf sandwich for Mr. L with fries. Meatloaf and spin salad for me.

MWBW wouldn't that be great if we could just "reach out" and share thru cyber space.

Good morning all. Just checking in. Rough night and woke up with a headache. We are getting out of the house today, woo hoo. Going to the "big" town and go bowling and a little shopping. I have no idea about dinner. Maybe the grocery store will inspire me.

Good morning everyone! Today is shopping day! HAVE to get out of this house and we do need to stock up on fresh foods. Snow is nearly all melted now and it's warming up nicely. Dinner tonight is still a mystery. I need to look through my freezer or maybe pick something that looks good at the store to bring home and cook! Decisions, decisions!!
