The original nachos - just one jalapeno slice and some cheese on each individual tortilla chip (big ones like Tostitos) melted in the oven for 5 mins.

Pile of salad - crispy lettuce, avocado, tomato and red onion, with hot creamy dressing; 2/3 thousand island and 1/3 jalapeno juice.

10 fat shrimp in the same dressing, piled on top.

Nachos all around the salad, and a glass of cold NZ Sauvignon Blanc.

I'm making the shrimp cakes out of the latest Real Simple magazine. The recipe doesn't have any crumbs or binder as a crab cake does, just coated in flour on the outside, so I'm not too sure about it, but I'll try anything once.
Also, tomato and fresh mozzarella salad.

Oh my elston---sounds like you are so happy--you have found heaven! Maine is so beautiful. A new kitchen to perform your magic in---well what could be better?!! It couldn't happen to a better person. Hope you enjoyed your dirinks and just relaxed. So good to have you back here.

Oh that sounds so good right now! I have got to get some food in this house. Just been so busy trying to beat the rain outside with working in my gardens. I suppose it will be a good weight loss program!!! Maybe I'll just stop by your house and have a bite???
