We've had strong winds also! We planted marigolds and red salvia and a lupine and a holly hock and petunias and coral bells a shasta daisy and liatris today. Hoping that we don't get the frost on the 30th that people warn me about!

Elston people out here say they don't do anything til after the 30th. We can always take these in the garage if frost threatens. Good luck.

The perennials should all be good....but with the annuals.....I am taking a risk.......I could still run out with sheets and big plant pots to cover stuff......I couldnt help myself....they had all the annuals out in the garden stores......looked just so pretty.
I am not a patient man.

this has been a long standing family favorite and makes a great pot luck dish.

I've just marinated some Cod fillets in olive and argan oil, some garlic flakes, fine herbs and "persillade" and I shall be serving a a green salad with Feta and red onion and some basmati rice as a side this evening. |Dessert will be fruit compote ( we brought back loads from France).

I bought one of those premade Spaniard omelettes at Costco this weekend.

You make a few holes in the plastic wrapping and delicately stuff it in the microwave for 3 minutes and VOILA! Dinner is served!

LOLLLLLLLLLL.... It should go well with salad and maybe some fried sweet plaintains.

If it doesn't go well with those sides, well, there are a bunch of restaurants not far away, or pizza delivery, or chinese take out.

I'm such a Suzy homemaker.
