Hey all! Just caught up on todays posts. We are gonna be at 1500 by tomorrow. Woohoo to us all and especially Cyn for creating this thread for all of us to share

I was reading the dicussion in regurds to gravy and red sauce..spagetti sauce ...marinara...My knowledge on this after working in an italian ristorante is...Bolognese is meat sauce. Marinara is red sauce with no meat. It all depends on how you were brought up and where. If my mom said spagetti I knew it ment a meaty sauce with sweet italian sausage. YUM!!!

I watched Paula Dean make corn friters while getting ready for work this am. I really want to make them. I want to eat them with no guilt ha ha (like Paula Dean). A stick of butter here a stick of butter there... and she licks her fingers ha ha ha. I like her cooking, but I think it would like me alot more, and stick around if ya know what I mean

Zesty chicken over angel hair is what I made for my hub. He brought the babe to work to hve a piece of tiramisu for his birthday. Thank you from my son for the bday wishes.<33333333

Tuna's quite pricey but the sardines are dirt cheap, so it evens out.

I think I'll make a small salsa to dollop on the tuna steaks which I'll just grill lightly after marinating in olive oil, garlic, lime.

Sides will be roasted asparagus and some basmati rice.
Oh how I wish we could get some fresh sardines.....my DP is Japanese and he loves the big sardines just pan fried like you say..and the little fresh sardines....he love them fried for breakfast ...and flying fish...he gets those when we are in japan and loves them.

I cooked some linguini with eggs and served it with rice as a quick meal before going out to the symphony.....didnt get home till after 10......so just heated up some shrimp bisque.....with a few frozen shrimp added to the bisque. It was good. (Not exactly on my diet....but I only had a small bowl.
