Probably some sweet potato fries and TBA vegetable.
Tonight we are having baked salmon with a wild rice mixture and mixed vegies

Or maybe scallops in a lemon caper sauce over the rice...... I haven't made up my mind yet.... lol

We are having friends over for a cookout. Grilling chicken (marinated in Caribbean jerk sauce) and veggie kabobs (red and green bell peppers, mushrooms, red onion, cherry tomatoes) and made a shrimp pasta salad with a lemon and basil dressing to go with. A friend of ours is bringing chips and guac as an app and brownies for dessert.

- Cyn, my thoughts are with you and your sister. Hope she's feeling better soon.

- Debsi, sorry to sound dense, but can you clarify for me exactly what type of beef the brisket is?

- Elston & Bebette
Whatever brand/finish refrigerator you get, definitely consider getting a bottom freezer model. I had one in my last house and LOVED it! Now I have a standard 21 cu. ft. top freezer unit, and since it was like brand new when we moved in, I couldn't justify spending the money to replace it. I sure miss my bottom freezer, though.

My son's favorite, too. He says "I'm mean" since I don't make steak as often as I used too. The steaks have been hit & miss at Publix & Sweetbay, though, so I refuse to pay $12/lb for a shot in the dark.

When I posted this morning that we were having 'stirfry', I forgot that it is Friday!! At our house, Friday's are 'breakfast for dinner' night!! First thing hubby said as he walked in the door was "We're having breakfast tonight aren't we?" So, dinner was homemade biscuits, bacon and eggs!! And I have a happy hubby, because he gets leftover biscuits tomorrow morning for breakfast!!
