Happy anniversary Lacey, happy birthday Mr. L.

Lacey, I am making NY Angus Strip Steaks and Lobster Tails for Valentine's Day.
This is what I do with the tails, cut through the back of the tail and take the shell off leaving only the tail in tack, with the lobster in it. I put melted butter on the tails and broil until they turn a pretty pink and white. Drawn butter and lemon. Yummy!

Tonight's dinner: Italian sausage, pepper, potato, onion & garlic sandwiches and salad.

YEAH! I sat here thinking about, what in the world is my password, and guess what? It WAS one I tried yesterday, but didn't use a capital letter!! Case sensitive, I have to remember!! Although, I am going to write my password in my little notebook with all my passwords. Memory gets so bad as we age.

DH wants something for dinner that we haven't had in over a year.....grilled cheese sandwiches! How easy is that! I love it! I'll probably make, well, open, a can of soup too.

Have a great rest of the day everyone!

Okay I had to go to Plan C- Plan A was an omelete with no home fries, go to the fridge to find out hubby used the last of the eggs! Plan B was Manwich, which every now and again I have a craving for and hubby forgot to get hamburger. Plan C, I made a tuna melt on rye bread!

Tonight we are broiling beef rib-eye steak. The sides are baked beans along with a few cubed red potatoes drizzled with olive oil and baked. A bit of kosher salt, fresh ground black peppercorns and garlic powder went on the potatoes also. The Steak is marinated beforehand in soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, beer and lemon juice. A-1 sauce will go on the steak after it has rested. A little Tapatio will get sprinkled on the potatoes after coming out of the oven.
