What's on tonight's dinner menu? 2013 version! (diet, cooker, defrosting, syrup)

Yesterday I played "Little Muffin Princess" and made 2 new muffin recipes. So I guess today I am going to play "little old fashion Grandma" and try home made noodles. We are having chicken and noodles, fruit salad and maybe brussel sprouts. I was going to have fruit salad last night, but my menu got changed, so if I don't use the banana today it will be in the garbage collection tomorrow morning.

Ginger pork, basmati rice, salad and these strawberry napoleon type things that my husband likes to call 'baby angels'.

Last night at my MIL's, we had meatloaf, garlic mashed potatoes, spinach, fresh corn on the cob and crescent rolls. For dessert, we had chocolate ice cream and crumb cake. I only had the ice cream. Tonight I am making skirt steaks, homemade Cole slaw, sweet potato tater tots.

braised lamb shoulder with shwarma spice rub, yogurt/mint/cucumber sauce, golden zucchini with fresh fava beans & spring onions, sponge cake w/ fresh local strawberries for dessert

Vegetarian chili - portobella mushrooms, corn, kidney beans, roasted tomatoes and a few other vegetables.


I have to get rid of the 4# of mushrooms I bought on Tuesday.
