We had a big lunch, so just baked beans with a sliced bubbles pickle. Sharp cheddar and half an apple for dessert.

We are having grilled salmon, grilled corn, green beans and salad. Sounds to me like a perfect 90 degree summer dinner.

For tonight I am making a spicy potato and green peas soup with onions,garlic/ginger/green chilies/cilantro,tomatoes,turmeric,garam masala. With it chapatis, a plate with a variety of raw cut up vegetables,homemade plain yogurt,lassi with a pinch of roasted cumin seeds.For dessert blueberries and strawberries with yogurt or milk.

Hotter than hadis and SO has a long long day some of it outside. Chicken fajitas, rice on the side, ice cream, Chablis, at least an hour "water time".

I had a doctors apt, kids did food shopping, and it's too hot to cook, so a black forest Yoplait light yogurt, sliced peaches in light brown sugar and a nice cold bottle of Evian.
