I have chicken in the fridge to cook on the George Foreman. And steamed green beans. Was hoping for some fresh tomatoes but something is eating ALL of them as soon as they barely start to ripen. Either squirrels or raccoons.

It was not the most pleasant day so comfort is necessary. Burly pasta with lots of ham pieces, mushroom, parsley and cream; green salad, tomatoes for me.

A peach nonfat Greek yogurt, 3 toasted slices of 12 grain bread with healthy-style margarine & strawberry spread and a mug of hot chocolate made with nonfat milk.

Husband is having leftovers from what we had last night - pork chops with mushroom gravy, broccoli and mashed potatoes. Dog is having leftovers from what husband doesn't eat tonight. I am having a Gino's East Frozen Deep Dish Pizza. Cheese. I would have preferred pepperoni, but Jewel only has cheese, sausage and pepperoni, or sausage. I don't really like the sausage all that much. I think I probably should write a strongly worded letter to the people who are in charge of these things for them to get me some Gino's East Frozen Deep Dish Pizza - PEPPERONI. Oh - wait - I may have some in my fridge - and I can put pepperoni on it myself! Hmmmmm - perhaps I won't have to write a strongly worded letter to the people who are in charge of these things after all!!!!

I love it when a plan comes together....

Feel Better SMXGirl! I must have missed this! That salad sounds delicious.

Thanks, sheena! No dinner for me tonight--maybe tomorrow. The salad was really good and easy to prepare. I will definitely be making it again.
