I like oysters and clams, but cannot eat truly slimy, like uncooked egg whites or sea urchin.
That sea urchin is a real gagger!
Clams are not slimy, they are chewy.
Somehow I can eat raw oysters, maybe cause I coat 'en in hot sauce?
Otherwise I eat them baked or fried.
Is there a type of texture in food that bothers you enough that you won't eat that food or find it highly disagreeable?
For me it is lumpiness in semi-liquid foods. Thinking about cottage cheese, creamed corn, and tapioca or rice pudding makes me shiver. It's a consistency (or lack thereof) that just is very off-putting to me.
Anybody else have an aversion to a taste texture?
I can't eat citrus fruit (although I can drink the juice without pulp). I can't tolerate the texture of the fruit as makes me feel like gagging.

I don't find sea urchin slimy, but rather sort of pasty. I don't like that texture. Overcooked chicken liver puts me off, too.
Anything that's either slimy or stringy (or both together - ugh!).
