Loaded baked potato soup, salad, and a piece of crusty bread with butter. We had freezing rain today out of no where. 60 degrees forecast by Friday, single digits by the weekend. Better get some fire wood.

I had some seafood salad that need to be eaten soon. I boiled a potato, put the salad on top with a little cheese and broiled the concoction until the cheese was melted but not burned. It was tasty.

Some friends that we hang out with are out of town and left us a big container of Elk stew yesterday. It is int our fridge defrosting right now. I have never had Elk nor has spoiled brat and we hear it is better than Venison. I will fix a salad to go with it: boy it is nice to have good friends that leave us care packages when they go out of town.
