Our dinner tonight was homemade egg drop soup, with added chicken, and dessert was vanilla ice cream topped with warm strawberries.

this is a run errand and shop day. We will leave here about 9 or 9:30 and not get home til 4 so who knows what we will have? I know what we will not have: chicken. We smoked one on spoiled brats new smoker on Sunday. Finally I froze what was left. I do not want to have chicken for a couple more weeks.

I am guessing we will go out for lunch and have left overs for dinner. We have a gift card for Olive Garden, not our favorite place but it will do, if it is free.

Out for dinner with a couple colleagues/friends. Romanos - I can barely stand it but my one buddy loves it so I'll take one for the team.

What is eddoe? I must go look.

Tonight is baigan bharta (braised eggplant) with basmati rice. I've been meaning to make this for several days but kept forgetting to prep the eggplant the night before. I put it together last night and just have to cook it all day in the crock pot now. I was never a fan of eggplant, but there's an Indian restaurant by us and everything they make is so good. I hope this measures up. I found baby eggplants just like they use.
