Neither of us felt much like cooking tonight, so we went to Denny's. The doctor at the hospital told me I was a little anemic, so I thought this was a good reason to have a big, juicy cheeseburger and onion rings. I only ate half the burger, so the rest is there for tomorrow. DH and I shared an apple-caramel dessert, which was delish. He eats faster than it do, so I had to rush to make sure I got as much as I wanted.

Will to live restored.

And mainebrokerman will be pleased, I am sure!

Having not eaten in almost 24 hours and only a few hours before work, I made a spaghetti with a canned salmon topping, a little bit of anchovy paste, garlic, Feta, olives and capers.

Served over seasoned croutons, mixed in the rest of the Mexican blend cheese (bottom of the bag), and tossed with powdered Parmesan.

Had it while watching more Charmed and with chilled water.

We are having leftover beef stew. I am serving it in bread bowls to help fancy it up.

It's steak night. We go out once a week for a $10 dinner at the local watering hole. It is a large fresh cut NY strip, salad and baked potato. Add a beer and it's $12/person. Can't beat it and it gives me a much needed break from cooking every day. I think I like the idea of relaxing after I eat and not having to clean up more than the idea that someone just made me dinner. lol

Something nice and simple probably.

Jacket potato, grated red Leicester cheese, baked beans and a sprinkle of Tabasco sauce, sounds good right now

I've got chicken marinating in buttermilk ranch dressing. Will have fried chicken, and corn. Not sure about the starch yet. Tired of mashed potatoes and gravy. Maybe some baked beans and mac and cheese.
