I wasn't much into cooking or eating real food tonight so I took some of that sweet cornbread, topped it with sliced strawberries, vanilla ice cream and a bit of cool whip..
Lobster, shrimp, and veal piccata sauteed white wine sauce & lemon garlic caper sauce fettuccini with "fresh" New Zealand mussels sauteed in garlic red wine sauce, and some italian bread..
"Tonight (t'was lunch time)", it was the Chinese buffet with unsweetened tea.
I told myself I wasn't going to do it, not to spend $14 when I have food at home, but situations required me to stay out in town where I had phone coverage while people worked on things for me. So to kill time, I went video shopping and went to the Chinese buffet.
Shake n bake BBQ chicken, rice a Roni, corn on the cob. It was 90 today. Tonite it goes down to 48. Yes folks, welcome to Oklahoma weather.....
so you hit that low last night; we should tonight. it was mid 80s yesterday, close to 70 right now, but that will be the high today, then it is down hill until middle of next week. I am so so so ready.
Now for dinner; we are having marinated boneless pork chops (seems to be a popular entrée) mashed sweet potatoes, cold slaw and squash.
Breakfast for dinner tonight. So it's pancakes, sausage, and cantaloupe. I think it will be vanilla milk to drink. My ten year old wanted me to make vanilla egg creams at home. I find U-bet vanilla syrup on Amazon, pay way too much for a syrup and both kids decided it was only meh. Luckily we all love vanilla milk.
Last night's wedge salad. Once again I'm too lazy to crumble my bacon properly.
And the spaghetti carbonara. Almost too much bacon in last night's dinner, well not according to the husband of course!

Canadian Thanksgiving is upon us this upcoming long weekend and we will be feasting at family and friends home each day and the best part I don't have to cook this year just bring cake and cranberry chutney.
So a light meal tonight due to feasting for 3 days. Thinking to make a creamed cauliflower soup and for dessert fluffy cream of wheat with Italian plum compote.
