I wasn't terribly hungry tonight, so I had some cottage cheese and then some fruit. That leftover Chinese mentioned upthread is sounding pretty good, though.
Brisket tortillas with Monterrey and sharp Cheddar with a table red.
It had been a long (21 hours on the sleep batteries) hot day with just 4 pieces of fruit since the last meal of Tuesday night and I wasn't too motivated too cook anything.
well, after yesterday when I had a bridge party here complete with lunch and just popped a frozen pizza in the over for dinner, it is time for a real meal. A organization our daughter belongs to that supports literacy for children is having their annual spaghetti dinner tonight. We have 2 tickets, will pick up our dinner and bring it home. It is complete with salad, bread and dessert and believe it or not it is made from scratch and is very good. Add a bottle of wine and that is my kind of dinner.
Tonight I will make spaghetti carbonara and a wedge salad. I am going to go make the salad dressing once I am done lollygagging.
Here's wishing you all a wonderful day!
Tonight it has to be a quick meal so boiled potatoes with butter, creamed cottage cheese flavored with onion,caraway,salt/black pepper and decorated with cherry tomato halves. To drink lemon water. For dessert one brownie with vanilla ice cream.
Didn't feel like standing over the stove frying chicken last night, so: Baked chicken, baked beans, macaroni and cheese, and corn. I had made a Hidden Valley Ranch buttermilk dressing last week that we didn't use. Didn’t want to lose it, so used it to marinade the chicken all night. Came out great. (I need one of those child’s ‘divider’ plates. LOL)
Probably home made pizza, green salad, merlot. Desert is still up to debate:>)
